Mohanlal sang a song for Blessy’s new film Bhramaram. The song was recorded at Mohanlal’s new recording studio in Kochi.

In the film Mohanlal plays a lorry driver who takes cargo from Coimbatore to the high ranges of Idukki. Bhoomika is the heroine in the film. Lakshmi Gopalaswami has an important role alongside Murali, son of late National award winning actor Bharath Gopi.

Also in the cast are Suresh Menon, Madan Babu, Murali Krishnan, Baby Nivedita, and others. After 20 years, noted cameraman Ajay Vincent, son of director Vincent, is making a comeback to Malayalam with this film, which is likely to be completed in one schedule. Brought to the theatres by Max Lab Entertainments, Bhramaram will be Mohanlal’s summer release.

The song written by Anil Pachooran and tuned by Mohan Sithara is a melodious folk song- “Annarkanna Vaa, Poovala Changatham Koodan Vaa….”. and will be picturised on Mohanlal himself.This is the fifth film by Blessy as an independent director after Kaazhcha (2004), Thanmathra (2005), Palunku (2006) and Calcutta News (2008).
