Mohanlal’s new heroine in Blessy’s Bhramaram is Bhumika Chawla. Bhumika has done films with superstars in Hindi with Salman Khan in Tere Naam, in Telugu with Mahesh Babu in Okkadu, with Vijay in Tamil Badri, and Suriya in Sillu Enno Oru Kathal.
Last month Bhumika was in Marayoor near Munnar shooting with Mohanlal for Blessy’s Bhramaram. Mohanlal is referred to as Ayal throughout the film or the man with no name, a small time jeep driver and a farmer.
Bhumika is wearing a cotton lungi and a blouse dressed like a laborer in hilly areas (See pic) for a song with Mohanlal in a sugar cane plantation. She plays his wife in the film.
A gushing Bhumika says: “It was a great experience working with Lal sir, one of the finest actors in Indian cinema. He is a gentleman and a good human being. I will put him in the same league as Amitabh Bachchan and Om Puri, two of the finest actors that I have worked with”.
Bhumika also said that Blessy and Mohanlal made her very comfortable; they even got her lip sync in Malayalam almost perfect.
Says Bhumika: “We completed my portion in 8 days, in Marayoor near Munnar. Mohanlal is a class apart, I have not seen such a natural performer,
